A good espionnage game that brings back some good old Splinter Cell souvenirs.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution is the first game of a Studio based in Montreal. They also had a good fan base before starting this game and had to perform well if they did not want to disappoint them. The game is good, however, it has his downsides.
The story starts in Detroit in the mid 2020's. The Sarif industries, for which you work for, are being attacked and you need to find who did this and why. You play the role of Adam, the Security Chief of that company. The story is well explained, however there are a lot of books that you find that are supposed to add a little something that are simply useless. A lot of computers that you hack are also useless, but that takes part of the game.
The difficulty level of the game in general is quite low if you go directly to your main objective, but can be higher if you decide to search every little areas. However, the boss fights are really hard, especially at the beginning where you do not have many augmentations. The more the gam advances, the easier it gets since you can get some "augs" that are really really useful to sneak by the guards.
The sound is good, even though it is not as used as in some other games. The graphics looks ok. However, there were several collision bugs throughout the game. One time, I even had to reload the game since Adam was stuck crouched beside a civilian. You can move boxes around, and most of the time, they do not end where you wanted them to be.
There are several weapons that you can use through the game, from the pistol to the rocket launcher passing by the tranquilizer gun. You can also theoretically finish the game without killing anyone (except the bosses). However, this is very hard to be done.
There are choices that you have to make through the entire game. They were supposed to change the entire story, however they do not change it that much in my opinion. I would not recommend to redo the game to see them. The same thing can also be said for the "different endings". There are 4. A cinematic will differ slightly at the end, but nothing much. You can save before making your choice, so you can just load and see them.
If you are interested in stealth games, you should definitely play Deus Ex. Expect a solid 25 hours of gameplay and a lot more if you want to search every little pieces for extra stuff.

Deus Ex does many things right but some significant shortfalls keep it from living up to its predecessor.
