I love DMC4 and DMC3 but sweet Mosus is this game terrible.

Funny I came here to make this exact topic. This series didn't really get good until part 3, imo. Actually, 3 was the only great DMC game.

Usually when people claim DMC1 is terrible, they say it's because 1) teh camera angles are teh suck, LOL, 2) triangle as jump is teh suck, LOL, and 3) "I should have been the one to fill your dark soul with
liiiiiiiiiiiiii-iiiiiiiiiiiiiiii-gggggggh-hhhht" LOL.
I've rarely seen a reason given for disliking the game beyond those three...
