Kind of scary the way she implied that we should get a new machine every 2 years.

Not all of us can easily afford to trade out machines like 1%ers swap out Jaguars.

I can understand that people working in this particular sector can often have easy access to top notch machines at work, but this is not true for a lot of other people who don't work in this field.

Normally, we should be able to get about 5 years out of a machine before it starts dropping off performance charts. To imply we would need to change every 2 years is downright frightening.

Still hacking and breaking barrels one by one?  God how much I hated that.

Why even post something like this. The hardware that this game uses to max out settings is 3 years old. This game is no graphic hog. Typical Blizzard games are known for making games work on many PC's  and is not graphic intensive.

I disagree with "Having no shadows is jarring." It looks perfectly fine without them. Considering your FPS will drop dramatically with 100+ mobs onscreen (look on youtube), disabling shadows would help a ton in performance.

We waited all this time for this??? It's been years, it looks just like Diablo II. I won't spend any money on this stuff. I already fell for Duke Nukem.

@Krelian-co im a hardcore SC2 player. my comp is cheap and can handle settings on high. try shopping better....amazon has a lot of good graphics cards and RAM is dirt cheap anyways

@Krelian-co thumbs up man. Problem today is people don't look at both sides of the situation and I'm glad you did. Smart guy =)

@Lukie_Dookie dont get me wrong i agree with you, i just loled at the way he said it, like having a work that allows people to buy nice things is not having a life. If i had to choose i would probably choose to spend it in more important things ofc.

@Krelian-co i'm an enthusiast when it comes to computers but I agree with Tharkun89. For majority of us who play games we also have other things in life that require money. You'd get more out of life purchasing a vehicle or some other sort of utility then paying up to two grand for a visual package. Sarcastic "yayyyy". Nice try with the 800x 600 though, that may of worked 9 years ago when integrated graphics couldn't handle it. *Sigh*, then again there's always those family's of incredibly rich people who relay no money ethics to the children and the act of spending large sums of cash for something like a crazy super computer don't worry them what so ever. More power to ya though.

@Tharkun89 so it is stupid to spend money in something you use to get the best quality you can? ok... keep having a life playing at 800x 600

@Tharkun89 right, so hard to spend a thousand dollars / year in pc upgrades...

@Krelian-co no, i just choose to spend it on things more worth it than better specs on my comp...

@Tharkun89 having a life is not having any money to buy upgrades? lol, i think having a life is having a decent work that allows me to buy stuff

good, we need games for pc gamers who have a life and better things to do with cash than spend it on expensive upgrades

Decent machines up to 2 years old can run Diablo III with maximum settings at a reasonable resolution... what better could we have heard here, eh? Masters of optimization... masters of game developing. Only Blizzard could deliver such a vid and not surprise me; just as OwDaditHurts below pointed out, I too appreciate a composed narrator, rather than the typical false enthusiast promoting a game and trying to shoot cheap hype up our proverbial veins. I loath the concept of "fan", but again, only Blizzard doesn't surprise me, going about it this way.

Diablo III is far less demanding than I anticipated.

Could I suggest that if this woman is going to make any more videos that she slow her vocal cords a little. My grand-daughter used to gabble like that and as a result one had difficulty in understanding WTH she was saying. When I was at school I was told...."speak slowly and clearly"....obviously something not taught these days. Got to agree with adc9 and james224.

Just wanted to thank the woman commentating this for not acting like a 14 year old school girl talking about Justin Bieber. Thanks for just talking like a normal human being.

I actually found the voice refreshingly genuine in comparison to other female voice-overs which always sound stilted and artificially enthusiastic.

Everything is amazing and all, but Im kinda tired that every media company or media youtube guy boasts and gloats about how cool the beta is and NONE OF US REGULAR GAMERS CAN ENTER THE BETA. Im tired of watching videos, players should be allowed to enter the beta.

I can run Starcraft 2 on my crappy comp, so would it be safe to say that I will be able to run Diablo 3 on it as well?

Not only Blizzard does it right but with less or no patches.

Runs about the same as Starcraft 2

Didn't really see much a difference, other than the disabling of the shadows.
