I cannot see fans of the series liking this at all. The best part about the series was providing reasonably realistic looking and fun rallying and from what I can see of this there will be none of that. I expect it could be a good game in it's own right for those who like a bit of driving mayhem and don't care how silly it is (I am thinking Flatout 2) but it should not have the Dirt name as people will view it as a downgrade of the series.
...... No thank you. If it looked like burnout I would play it. This looks like a lot of driving slowly to me.
Yeah this looks good, it reminds me of Test Drive: Eve of Destruction. I used to play that game alot on PS2 all the time.
Reminds me of Demolition Derby on the PS. One of the first games I ever played on that console along with X-com. Ahhh memories. I've never really been into driving games though, Ridge Racer, DD and the last few played properly were NFS on 3DO and NFS underground on PC. There's a number of years in-between those games.
