Do two lvl 100 enemies give the same Exp as one lvl 200?

In other words, what is more important when exp (or mana) gaining, quantity or quality?

- I'd like to know if it's worth it to throw enemies together so they combine into a stronger one -

It all depends on the actual enemies you kill. each class gives out a different amount of Exp. To summarize, in some cases, no. in some cases, yes.

Almost always no. A quirk in the EXP formula means that one level 95 enemy of most classes will give more EXP than one level 200 enemy. The formula catches back up between level 230 and 320 for the majority of classes.
