Having reunited all three pigs, I chose to pursue Practical Pigs leg of the quest. He mentioned to speak to the phone in Mickey's house to get the word out about the record. Mickey's phone then told me to fill in all of the phone boxes to complete the network.

Prior to this all happening, I had already filled in 13/15 of the phone boxes. I filled in the other two, went back and spoke to the phone, and...nothing. Didn't even acknowledge the quest. So I went back and talked to Practical Pig--he told me to talk to the phone. So I talked to the phone, who tried to make the call and failed...said I needed to fill in all of the phone boxes. I double checked all five locations, and the phones were filled in. I even thinned and repainted some, just to make sure I got Gus' "you've filled in all of the phone boxes in this area" speech. Went back to the phone. No good. Went back to Practical. Told me to talk to the phone. Talked to the phone. Told me to fill in the boxes.

Did I run into some sort of glitch? Cause I don't know what else to do, short of paying 5000 tickets or talking to the Cinema usher to complete Fifer's option.

Anyone else run into this glitch?

Why are you helping the idiot who calls himself the "Practical Pig"?
He, already, got them $5000 in debt.
Now, he wants to continue his plan, stating the improbable outcome of selling a bazillion or gazillion records. Even if everyone you have seen in Wasteland bought a record, how many sales do you expect?

He says he will cut you in on the profit. Really?

How do the other pigs feel about knuckling under to "Practical Pig?"

But, go ahead and see what happens.

    1) You said "Short of paying 5000..."
Your other alternative is to go to the Mean Street Cinema and make a deal that will make the other pig happy.

    2) Did you get a fiddle or violin for one pig?

    3) I ran into an oddity when I was in the area.
There are numbers 1, 11, 111 on thinned trees in Ventureland.
When you are near the 3 pigs' house, Oswald wants to zap some electrical thing that I can't see.

There is an electrical thing under and behind the canopy where you ride up the lift.

Up on that balcony, if you thin out the tree and door where you can go to the construction site, there is another electrical box, on the high, cut-off tree.

Figure out the order to electrify the three rods, and then talk to everyone again.

I zapped all three electrical rods in the right order, and talked to everyone again. No dice.

Do you currently have all three pigs reunited in the Ventureland Treehouse, for the second time? (First time they were in the Cinema; jail where you fight in Fort Wilderness, and Mickey's house in OsTown.)

After you have them all in the Treehouse, and go off to take care of the telephones, two of them take off. (Ortensia's House in OsTown and Disney Gulch)

You never know what the game is going to require. Maybe it wants you to talk with the Usher in the Cinema -- carefully, so you don't inadvertently click too fast and accept his offer.

Otherwise, there are many glitches when it comes to Quests and Challenges. Sometimes, I save my games to an SD card, and replay, to no avail, and other times it goes smoothly.

You get the same credit for the Quest, whether you accept the Cinema Usher's deal or the Practical Pig's path.

Sometimes, characters say things for no reason.

Click on your Quests, then click on the rectangle that has the quest writing on it, and you will see a diagram of the quest progress. It will show a circle with dots for things that are not completed, and a circle with a check mark for things that you have been given credit for.

This isn't the first time I said that the designers are mean-spirited and inept.

Yep, I have all three pigs. I actually just thinned and repainted every single telephone box. Still nothing. Odd thing though...you say the pigs are supposed to go off on their own again? They're still all in the treehouse...

Just go to the Mean Street Cinema and accept the Usher's deal.

Then, be one of the thousands who complain to Disney.

    Your Problem Beats Me!!!

With this game, you never know whether the designers wanted you to talk with all three pigs, again, in their tree house -- or whether they wanted you to keep up your conversation with the telephone, over and over.

If you did not have all the telephone spots, the telephone would tell you.

    Just go to the usher.

I am seeing your question at the lower level of the Gamespot.com general forum -- and redirected to Gamefaqs.

At Gamespot's top section, I have a topic for people who encounter glitches with the programming.

Yeah, I finally broke down and talked to the Usher. I appreciate the help.

I think my mistake was painting in these boxes as I went along before starting the quest. It seems like, because of that, the game refused to acknowledge that I had painted them in. That'll teach me to try to help the folks of Wasteland!
