In this gameplay movie from DMC, Dante needs to destroy a bunch of enemies while escaping a city hell-bent on squishing him.
All I see are a bunch of panzies knocking on a game they haven't even played and won't because it's not the same rehashed BS from previous games. Every bit of hate toward this game is simply ignorance and nothing, and I mean nothing more. While all of you are whining like kindergarteners I will be enjoying this game. It looks badass!

I don't understand all the hate just because they changed the protagonist's hairstyle...everything else looks just fine.
youre wrong buddy...everything else look like "P90X: Crazy Thumbs Workout Edition". Looks heck of a lot better than the rest of the series. Awesome!!!
You know, I can see past all the changes and tell that this game looks pretty fun. I won't lie...the combat looks interesting and the art direction looks tasty. The one thing I will say is that it was completely un-needed to be called DMC and just as well could have been a new Ninja Theory game, and DMC 5 could have been what fans wanted.
that gameplay reeks of DMC no matter what you do with the cosmetics so calling it other than DMC its plain silly.
@Nate_ it means instead of swapping between weapons (which might i had was a hassle in dmc 1,2, and 4) you can just hold a button allowing for an angel weapon and demon weapon. actually using these weapons to symbolize this difference between hostility and empathy was a good idea but only if they incorporate it in some fashion, Karma system or actions

Some of the people posting comments here are uninformed of why Dante turned from DMC badass to this dude, well technically this DMC focuses on the history of Dante so the story plays on from DMC 5 (this one) DMC 2, DMC 3 & 4 (check please)

lol, always the same. darksiders, dantes inferno, god of war, bayonetta.....this looks extremely like bayonetta. moving, area fight, move to next area fight with a bit story, buying, boss, boss, area fight and so on....but i like it. bayonetta is great though :P

I love all the little atmospheric touches, like the wind blowing power lines, dust in the air, and the graffiti and trash on the streets. Good attention to detail IMO. Everything comes together to give it a nice eerie feel, which is usually hard to do in broad daylight settings.
@von_adrian I still fail to see what the heck makes the other Dante so much more manly when in fact he looked more feminine then this version who looks like an average dude.
I liked the backtracking in DMC1 and 4. This combat doesn't look especially fun. It all looks very plain to me.
the original DMC required you to run for no reason. Espcially dmc4. you basically ran to the end of the game and then you ran back. How fun was that. DMC2 was the game that had little to no backtracking at its the most hated of the series. And what games are you playing that requires you to stand in one place?
i have to agree, the character looks too gay but everything looks awesome. sound and gameplay...except the character.. sad coz you'll be looking at him 100% of the game...
whats going on in every gameplay he is running & running. It is reminding me run of prince of persia from DHAKA in warrior within..
