Doom 3:
Now, for all you PC gamers out there who own Doom 3, you were wondering how bad this game was going to be since it was going to a console, and not just any console, the Xbox. On the Xbox, the game plays better and even looks better. Why? You will find out.
The story of Doom 3 is about an evil scientist who makes a deal with the 'bad guy downstairs' and the scientist opens a portal to hell; thus, thousands of 'demons' escape unto the advanced research facility on Mars. Instantly, the demons slaughter all the scientists and security personnel on Mars leaving only one marine to go about the facility to try to stop the madness. The story takes you through advanced scientific ,to a ruins of an ancient civilization under Mars' surface, and even to the 'badplace downstairs'.
The gameplay is at its best on the console. A new feature has been implemented on the Xbox called co-op, the most fun thing with this game. You can join a co-op game online and play with someone and go through the story. Doom 3 has the most creepy, scary atmosphere even Resident Evil cannot come close to matching.
The graphics are clean and smooth. Solid framerate and great decals. The blood and gore in the game will give you the chills. ID did an awesome job with the graphics.
The sound is superb, absolutely wonderful. The sound effects from the Demons to the zombies and even to the evil scientist himself, all of it is beautiful. The voice acting is very good and the weapons sound very well too.
The games multiplayer is extremely fun while it lasts; however, you'll end up enjoying the single player and co-op the most. But being able to play against opponents is fun but not as challenging as playing co-op and being scared and watching your teammates back all the time.
So, overall, this game, if you own an Xbox, you need this game in your collection due to fact it is very well put together and probably one of the best Horror-FPS- games to date.

Doom 3 is an okay game, but it shows that graphics aren't everything.
