Base game is $10 and I'm guessing all the dlc is on sale from $2-5 each..There was 3 or 4 on the page.

I'll probably get the game and maybe 1 or 2 of the dlcs...problem is I know next to nothing about them or the game really haha. I am however a huge DA:O fan. Tried the demo when it first came out but that was about it. Now that the game is $10 I'm willing to give it a shot. If I were to pick one or two what would you guys suggest? Thanks in advance!

I picked this up for $5 @Best Buy back when they had the coupon for it. I am also interested in picking up some of the DLC on sale but I've heard bad things about them too....

Mark of the Assassin is 560 points ($7, about a 30% discount), Legacy is 400 points ($5, 50% discount), didn't bother checking the price on Exiled Prince, since I got it for free with the SE.

The item packs and Black Emporium aren't on sale.

Waiting for my 2 400 point codes from Bing Rewards I ordered Sunday to get sent so I can buy DA2 (need the GoD version to be able to play it since my console no longer reads discs), that just leaves finding $7 for MotA (don't know if Bing is going to cut it this time or not) and $5 for the second item bundle, but that can wait for whenever since it isn't on sale.

I've heard much better about Legacy and MotA than I've heard about the base game.

Even the whinny little brats that want to ***** and moan about DA2 and all the flaws it has, without ever admitting anything about it is good, usually admit that those two DLC are good and much better than the base game.

The only real complaint I've seen about EP is that it appears to be content that was cut for the sole purpose of selling it as DLC, but there is no way to know if that is the case, or if it was cut due to not being able to get it to work within the deadline for the game going gold, and then was worked on between that time and the release of the game and was able to get released, much like Stone Prisoner for DAO, especially since it isn't just a 108KB download for an unlock key, meaning it isn't content already on the disc, unless they really went through all the trouble to add that much padding to the file just to make it appear as if it isn't just an unlock key.

Not for those who bought a used copy that didn't contain an unused code.

There is a reason content included with new copies (including the GoD version) still has a price of 800 points, not everybody is going to buy a copy that includes it for free.

Legacy and Mark of the Assassin are worth getting and at a discount that is a pretty good deal. They are far and away the best things DA2 has to offer. Exiled Prince not so much. If it was not cut from the game before it is just as lazy a DLC as the game itself. More reused areas with the only redeeming thing about a cameo and some ok items in Act 3.
