Bioware is absolutely clueless at this point. They seriously don't know why people thought Dragon Age 2 sucked, and their solution is just copy things from more popular games and hope it works.

They are COMPLETELY disconnected from their audience.

Meanwhile Obsidian works on Project Eternity, an RPG people actually want to play and a game Bioware claimed they could "never make."

<facepalm>Your threads on this board make me a sad panda.</facepalm>

Heck, if they are going to copy other studios ... Why not ....... meh, nevermind.

    Skyrim
    Horrible Combat System
    Horrible UI
    Bland & Repetitive Side-Quests
Designed to be a PC Hardware Stress Test
Unplayable for some people on a console

    Bethesda
    Previously equivalent to Metallica
    Presently equivalent to Justin Bieber

"We're checking [Skyrim] out aggressively," he continued. "We like it. We're big admirers of [Bethesda] and the product. We think we can do some wonderful things."

But with that said, I do think a more open-world and/or sandbox thing would be a nice addition ... I just don't really think they would stop there. Be open-world, encoursage sandbox gameplay, innovate the design ... just don't castrate yourself in the process. There's nothing really wrong with the engine except the loss of combos from DAO. It's just the gameplay and design that was poor and lacking in my opinion.

I'm just glad I can say this here without posting on the article you linked and getting attacked by a hundred thousand skyrim fanboys/girls/turkeys.

I disagree vehemently. Open world "sandbox" games have terrible stories, previously the hallmark of Bioware games.

If Laidlaw is making DA3 an open world sandbox the series is dead for real.

Dude Thanatos why are you still here posting on a board for a game you hate. You've been here since the game came out.

The only reason i am here right now was because i thought to myself "self, i wonder if any of those sad neckbeards are moaning on the DA2 boards after all this time" so I come and look, and sure as **** here you are king neckbeard.

Do you not have anything more productive to do? Go make a friend, talk to a girl, build a tree house to spank it to comic books in or whatever you like to do.

To bait responses out of people like you. Mission accomplished!

I mean really, it's not much effort to keep up with a dead forum.
