Dragon Age: Origins - Darkspawn Chronicles User Review
Interesting idea and approach, but feels a little rushed because of the glitches and bugs. Fun, nonetheless.

Ever wonder what it would feel like to fight the Wardens from the perspective of the Darkspawn? Well, now you have your chance to rampage through the city of Denerim destroying everything in your wake! The story begins at the same time as the end of the original game when the hero must defeat the Blight and save the world from the Darkspawn. Only this time you must destroy the hero, which is Alistair. Stab innocent civilians, burn and pillage, and basically be as evil as you want in this neat little add-on from Bioware. For five bucks I felt that I got my money's worth, but it is easy to see that this add-on may not have gotten the polish it needed. Slow downs and stutters happen during combat and even an occasional freeze up. I even encountered times when the hit detection just did not work at all. There are basically no options to customize your character. You start as a Darkspawn Vanguard and you must enthrall other Darkspawn to join your party. No leveling or choosing of skills to be had here. Glitches and limitations aside, this is still worth five dollars for the undeniable joy you feel playing as the Darkspawn.

I've never played a more putrid DLC. Flee in horror from the designer taint in this steamer.

A fair idea that could have been worked on some more.
