i love dragon ball so much but i dont like the games cause over simple movelist and tthat nasty split screen does anyone know if its still split screen the older ones wernt whose dumb idea was that

It looks nice but I really don't care for the Tenkaichi gameplay. I still like the Budokai 3 gameplay the most. We shall see if they improve over the last in more than just looks. Can't wait.

will there be characters from the original dragonball like master roshi

I just hope this game controls like budokai tenkaichi 3 the developers really screwed up the controls in raging blast 1 & 2 this might be the DBZ game i've been waiting for and it seems there will be a story mode like the original DBZ budokai that came out on PS2

I'm hoping that they one day create a story based DBZ game. I'm a bit tired of all the pure fighting, I'd prefer a remake of the GBA games, those were excellent.

This game is not the same old game it's got boss fights character customization ,the voice well be in English put in kai which is a bummer to me and a story unlike RB2

Best looking one so far. Great shading. My only problem with it is that I suck at these. The control layout always makes me feel incompetent. I'll kick your *** in Street Fighter tho!

Why would they post the Japanese trailer? For that matter, did Namco Bandai have this one at Comic Con? I don't know how else to stress how terrible this game looks: the animations are god awful, the models are poor and reused from the terrible Raging Blast games- the textures are okay, but there is nothing redeeming about this. What, the annoying, clunky-looking "giant boss fights" where you have to dodge some attacks? Like I said, nothing redeeming, and the camera looks HORRIFIC. Why can't a good company like Ubisoft get the rights to develop Dragon Ball games? At least they put effort into their games.

i wanna see character list. there better be at least more than 150 characters in this game. bt3 had more than 150 characters and that was freakin on ps2. less than 150 characters=me not buying it ^_^

Huh so they actually made the environments fully destructible from what it looks like and brought back the planet damage scenes from Budokai 3 so here's my question...Where's the real gameplay improvements? God just gives us a HD remake of Budokai 3 for the love of god and stop hawking out this crap every year or 2.

I still haven't seen anything worth going "DAY 1 BUY" over. DBZ games will be the same OLD crap until FANS stop buying it. Maybe then they will start putting some effort into these games.

And no improvement in the gameplay just like raging blast games and before.

I'm glad that this game is coming out this year and not next year lol! As of now, I consider this a "Day 1" purchase (I'm pretty sure it would be available for the Xbox 360 anyway) unless they reveal something that would be very horrible, like the series only going up to the Freeza saga. We've already had too many Dragonball games that I think it's high time to simply include EVERY character already. They can just add extra original characters if they want unlockables. I really hope they don't go the horrible DLC route where you have to buy other characters to use them, unless they are originals intended only for this version of the game like Super Saiyan 4 Brolly and the like. The normal characters in the manga, anime, and movies should be included in the game by default.

Now THIS is a Dragonball Z game done right. If you'll notice, their super attacks like Kamehameha and others now destroy the land and create gigantic trails. From what I've read previously in other sites when the game was still called "Dragonball Game Project 2011", you can also create craters on the ground if you smash an opponent towards the ground. I also love how the giant oozaru/ape version is the correct size and dwarfs the normal sized characters. In Tenkaichi 3, the giant ape was just like 3 or 4 times the size of a normal character, but now, they're Godzilla size, just like in the manga and shows! I'm pretty sure that if this game follows the gameplay style of Tenkaichi 3, you'll be able to transform anytime you want. I just hope that as what others have said, they'd just simply ditch the energy bar requirement to transform because in the manga and shows, Goku and pals can still transform no matter how beat up they get.

actually looks like it plays decent, but need some more characters first, DBZ is cool but wheres some GT characters??

I hope they make it that you transform into the SSJ stages because wtf, stay true to the series, burst limit was so cool that you could transform frieza from first stage to last stage and you had a choice of either using your super bar for super attacks or to transform, so wtf

i'll take budokai tenkaichi 3 any day...

If this game doesn't have supersaiyan 4 goku & vegeta, supersaiyan 3 kid goku, Super saiyan 4 gogeta. I am not buying this.

Still waiting to see some GT characters. :/
