Hard difficulty level	Beat the game once.
Artwork	Beat the game once.
Master Ninja mode	Beat the game on hard (Head Ninja) difficulty
Muramasa's prize shop	Beat the normal difficulty mode for the first time.

The Way of Kunoichi

To play through the enitre game as Momiji, select the normal or hard difficulty level, survive the fight with Ryu and successfully defeat the dragon boss. A new difficulty will be unlocked - The Way of Kunoichi. Begin a new game to access it.

Ninja Gaiden DS Easter Eggs

Happy Birthday from Team Ninja

If you have set the DS to your birthday, you will get a special "Happy Birthday" sound effect when you start the game! Instead of the usual sound effect when you tap the start screen, you'll hear one of the characters yell out "Happy Birthday!"

Rod of Trials Location
This is the location of the Rod of Trials which is needed in order to get into the Tests of Valor for Achievements or just to complete. This location is located in Chapter 2 after the first save point. Do NOT go up the hill in this area.
