What's a good way of making money?

Sell berries to the guy in the haunted house. ( last left door)

Trade in bugs and fish with the books and sell the items you get.
Do this in Mystery Time for extra profit.
Berries also give you lots of money, but I don't know how to plant them myself. -
Fishing in the sea at the mainland beach is a good way to make some money. Lots of gold ore and gemstones when trading in globefish. Also easy to regenerate fish by exiting and re-entering area.
But Mystery Time is definately the best time to make money. Get the weird disappearing mushroom like insects and go in and out of the cave getting the lil red caterpillar-type insects too. Mushrooms available also sell for more. -
There is the trick of finding out what Malily (the shopkeeper of the magic ingredients store) wants for her potion. Go look for what she asks for. She pays extra (mostly double) for those 3 items. Now here comes the fun part. Fill up your inventory with the items she requests, then sell them to her one at a time. Since she gives bonus money for each transation holding the item/s she wants, sell one, get bonus money. lather, rinse, repeat until empty
