If you're looking for a good FPS game, there are lots of it. But for the classic one, this is the game you're looking for.
Duke Nukem 3D one of the best game from 20th century. The game takes place when the aliens invade our planet, Earth. As Duke Nukem, you must destroy the invading aliens that kidnaps some women.
If you have played Doom before, then you'll know how to play this game. But if you haven't, don't worry. It's easy to understand this game. Just shoot every single aliens that you met. Just because this game use the same engine as Doom, doesn't mean it's the same game as Doom. This game is very different. It has something that some FPS don't have. Like the babes. There are many babes that you can find throughout the game. They're often seen trapped on something greenish. And if you kill them, the aliens will suddenly appear behind you. So watch your fire. There are many weapons throughout the game. Many of them has the good and the bad effects.
Considering this is an old school game, the graphic isn't really good. But that won't stop Duke's advance as a king. At that time, this is one of the game that has the best graphic. It does include blood and gore, something that you may like. And if you don't like the graphics, you can download the High Resolution Pack version of Duke Nukem. And if you don't even like the HRP, why don't you just wait for the release of Duke Nukem Forever.
The sound is very good for an old school game. It's realistic enough. But the best of all, when Duke talks about something. For example. If you blow an alien into pieces, he may say "Holy s***" and that's good for me because you cannot find any game that the character could speak. If you find one though, tell me.
I've told you many good things about Duke Nukem. But that doesn't mean there aren't any bad things of Duke Nukem. Yes there are. But there's only little of it. The game doesn't have a checkpoint so you'll have to save your game at every place where at the boss area or anywhere you want. But that's no problem for me. The overall? The game is very recommended for those who wanted to play an old game. Now I'm going to kick some ass and chew some bubble gum, and I'm all out of gum.
