Bad ideea , game is already dead in the water if they keep the pay to win model .
So far game is in beta and hopefully they will remove pay to win stuff untill launch , if not game is doomed to fail fast.

This isn't true. Please do some research like on youtube for interviews by developers of the game.
You need skill to win.
The pack is an option - only.
Play the game and you will see. Your skill will rule.
You will just get to kill noobs with cool gear.

Don't you lose all your gear you bought that you have equipped on your guy if you die?
EDIT: Just checked online but real money is used to buy a different in-game currency (Aurum) to buy either cosmetic stuff or Weapons and gear that you could buy also with the in-game money (ISK). So paying money is just to look pretty mostly (assuming the gear still has skill requirements)

[/QUOTE]CCP lied , you can buy better weapons and modules AND skill b00sters that are available ONLY with AURUM ,skill b00sters i mean , aurum is ingame currency u buy with $$$
those weapons and modules requires LESS skill points to use them and consume LESS CPU/PG dropsuit and by doing that u have more CPU/PG left to equip other helping modules

Been trying the beta and checked the market more closely. The stuff is a little better (in things like percent/damage) and they require less, so yeah if you pay money you do get some nicer stuff. All I can say now is at least it's not by a larger gap.
