What is with the lag?

Has the beta always been this laggy? It is pretty much unplayable for me atm. Not only do I lose pretty much all firefights, it is a pain to even roam around the map or be able to do anything. For example, I might be hacking a cannon when suddenly I get "teleported" to somewhere else and proceed to get shot by an enemy that I didn't even see.

I have neve experienced the type of gameplay issues you have described, and the only real lag I have a problem with is framerate lag, especially when piloting a LAV.

If you're omnipotent and all-powerful...why would you need to REST? On the 7th or ANY day?

That's your connection.

I have that happen to me every now and then too. Just reset your router/modem/whatever, restart your PS3, etc..and you should be fine.

One of the early builds was horribly laggy for me but it runs very smooth now. Unfortunately that doesn't keep it from being one of the worst shooters I have ever played.
