The game has a good selection of players, and it takes a long to beat by the fact that you have to beat every character instead of by each force like in DW 4. It's just basically another remake of all the other games: same battles but new maps, a couple new fighters, and some other misc. features thrown in. This is a series you have to like from the beginning; if you hate it at first, it will NEVER grow on you. For the critics out there: YOU ALL SUCK!!! The critics expectations for these series are way too high and they need to give it a little credit. These games are meant for only the kind of person who loves to play mindless hack-n'-slash violence. I am one of those people. If you are too, then this is the series for you! THis is an old game so you can't expect it to be the best in the series, but it is definetely a step-up form the crap from DW 2. It is also kind of fascinating at first from the way that it is all based on history. It is cool at first but then its like "been there, done that" when you read a review from the newest game. Personally, I thought it was OK, but until DW 6 came out, DW 4 has always been my fav.
