You can't beat the price of this little gem...free! This beautiful and simple game will suck you in and steal hours from your life without you even realizing it! The game begins with you having one "planet" with one unit tree and one defense tree growing and a number of birds/seeds. Depending on the level you are playing, you can grow a certain number of trees per planet to produce more units or a defense tree which grows explosive seeds that help defend that particular planet. In order to grow a new tree you must sacrifice 15 units, making early choices in the game very important. As the trees produce units, they branch out, allowing for more units to be growing at one time. The beautiful ambient soundtrack puts you into a trance as you manage your world colonies of "birds/seeds" and send them out far and wide to capture other planets. Each planet produces more units of various strength, depending on the stats of that particular planet. At the beginning every single unit is a precious commodity but you'll soon find yourself with armies of hundreds, ready to invade the surrounding planets. I sometimes like to call it "Bird Attack" and make screeching eagle noises during battles just to annoy my wife.

Eufloria may be a game with appealing abstract visuals, but its presentation does not match its gameplay.

Definitely different, as to be expected from an "indie" game, but since when is different a bad thing?
