Fable: The Journey Giveaway
Fable: The Journey won't be released for the Xbox 360 until October, but August 21 marks the release of the official prequel novel to the game, Fable: Edge of the World. You can enjoy a lengthy excerpt from the start of the book below, courtesy of Microsoft and publisher Random House. You can also grab yourself a special in-game item by claiming a code that can be redeemed on Xbox Live immediately.
FABLE: EDGE OF THE WORLD by Christie Golden, Excerpt
The in-game item in question is a "Fragment of the Spire" mini shard that hangs from your horse and cart. In addition to being a nice-looking trinket, the shard will afford you a free bolt mana bar upgrade.

Where do i find the items after i redeem the codes? Cant seem to find them in game or anywhere?
@Mystique77 if you go to the menu when in game go to collectibles it should be on the last page, and have a little star like icon next to it hover over and equip you should be good to go
how did i activate the shard ingame. I have allready redeem the code.
But i did not see the shard ingame.

@jessie82 Also, blame region locks on games and accompanying codes. You're welcome to claim a code, but Microsoft won't let you redeem it outside of North America.
No mention of Peter Molineux in the intro? Microsoft scum, Molineux brought Fable to life!

Who in the world wants this game? Eh, whatever.
I have to say though, the lore and gameworld DID seem interesting, I somewhat enjoyed Fable 3 for that. Too bad the games themselves are mediciore, and this one be a kinect.
I wouldn't get a novel for a game I don't even like. Shame, this series had massive amounts of potential.
Oh well, back to The Last Wish.
@TohouAsura I feel you man I've always like the idea of Fable more than i actually liked the games themselves. After Fable III i finally came to terms that I had wasted my money and time on the games.
I just can't keep settling for mediocrity. Playing Fable is like staying in a relationship with who doesn't make you happy.
