If you like first person shooters and a will horror to it, then this is the right game for you. Project Origin starts off minutes before the explosion that ended the first F.E.A.R. game. You play as a Sergeant Michael Becket, who is assigned to an elite military squad who's mission is to capture a person by the name of Aristide and put into protective custody. But eventually you discover Alma, and your new mission is to figure out a way to eliminate her. Overall the storyline is well put together!
There are a several weapons to choose from in Project Origin. Most of them you'll probably remember from the past F.E.A.R. games. There is a weapon that is new for sure. When you shoot this weapon, it shoots out a big blue orb, whenever it passes an enemy (or makes contact with an enemy) the enemy will become a skeleton instantly. It is awesome to shoot at a group of enemies, because they all die instantaneously. There are some levels in the game where you can control a mech. The mechs are amazing, you shoot an enemy once and they explode into a pill of blood and guts. But I can't help but find it way to easy to defeat other mechs with a mech, I would think it be a little bit harder than it is in the game. But overall the weapons are great!
The graphics in Project Origin is slightly more improved from the pass F.E.A.R. games, which the graphics look awesome by the way. The sound, however, is pretty much still the same, which isn't that great. Gameplay is good, but sometimes the game freezes, which is totally annoying, unless its just my disc is bad. The game can be pretty scary, at least when your in the room by yourself and you're in the dark, its super fun though. I would recommend this game to anyone who enjoys a good scary every so often, and to anyone who likes shooters. If you get the game (or rent it), I hope you enjoy it!

You wouldn't think playing a game with a kid that has a fetish for burnt flesh would get boring...

F.E.A.R 3 Fettel ending. You get it by playing Fettel in single-player, or being the "favorite son" during co-op play. Considered the bad ending.Posted Jul 31, 2011
