I have played both f.e.a.r 1&2 twice, and i actually liked them. really waiting for this one..

@ResistCombine what are you talking about its an awesome idea. Not to mention if you are a true F.E.A.R fan you should feel happy they went back to finish Alma.

I loved the first F.E.A.R. it was pretty dark and horror, but the atmosphere abd the gameplay made it one of the bes FPS ever. F.E.A.R. 2 was kind of disappointing for me, but this third game has potential. However, I hope the producers will use the potential of this game, 'cause it might be a great game...or just another mediocre FPS that I forget about 2 days after I played it...

Either way the franchise is ruined. They can never bring back the original fear with original ideas. Plus with all the great games coming in fall I'm really not sure about this.

Whoah.. :o Yeah! This is deliciously dark, atmospheric, unblinking and in your face. The 'puppet master' abilities will make a refreshing change to staring down the sights of a rifle. Definitely keeping my eyes on this one.

@ hrvarakl - I'm glad there's someone else here who's been awake. F.E.A.R. will probably always be my favorite FPS, and defintely my favorite in the series. I'm 27 and I've been playing FPS games since they were invented, and the only time I played another game that much was Quake 2 multiplayer. Everything about the original F.E.A.R. was great...the atmosphere felt new because the graphics were all fresh (and moderately ahead of their time), the sound especially in slomo was amazing, the storyline was intriguing and dark, and best of all the game-play was INCREDIBLY FUN. It remains one of the very few games that I replayed the single player at least a dozen times on the hardest mode, so needless to say, F.E.A.R. 2 was a disappointment, and F.3.A.R. just looks like more F.E.A.R. 2 with some live-action cutscenes thrown in.

looks really good and the graphics are BADASS I only wonder what will the gameplay be like ,and will the story do it's part of the game as well...if all three things turn out good I might even buy this...

@ georgeorjose: Well, no, they' ve f*cked up the story anyway.. But you ought to play the first one, because it is (and will remain, it seems) the only worthy game in the series -- and one of the greatest fps to date (imo)

He doesn't even look like Fettel. What the he** are the boys at FEAR doing? FEAR was such an amazing game without needing any of these "new directions." We just want creepy shadows and shiny visceral guns. Is that so hard?

Some people think FEAR 2 was superior to the original and I just don't get it. I have fond memories of the first one but the second one, not so much. It was pretty forgettable. I can't say I'm too excited about FEAR 3 but I'll still probably check it out.

a survival horror, with co-op, with one of them playing as a ghost like entity. okay..... this seems interesting, hopefully it plays well, which is all I really care about.

FEAR 2 sucked ballz. I hope they aren't planning on giving us another craptastic console port.

I'll never understand how so many people hate this series and then come to comment on it. I think only one person needs to say it. Yes well all agree the first F.E.A.R. made us crap everywhere but if you think it was pretty much the same thing over. Same environments all the time, usually in warehouse, shed like places, and you always end up using the same weapon through the game because it felt good. What they did for F.E.A.R. 2 was to mix it up! And everyone spat on it after everyone complained what they hated in the first which was lack of environments. So they gave us a host of different areas in the second to place with but perfectionists weren't satisfied. Graphics, animations, effects, textures and sound were shot up way over the first F.E.A.R. in the second and hell they made Alma jump at you and attack you. Wasn't anyone scared or interested when you'll be walking down a hall wall way in the second game and your vision goes and things start to fall down, the lights flicker and then go out and come back on for a spit second to show you Alma walking towards you and then the light coming back on and nothing there? The first game gave us nothing in what the second did. All the people that hate it, I'd like to see you do any better. I can't but at least I appreciate the work there. It just annoys me a lot. And yeah its your opinion but still respect it.

Why does in game fettel look nothing like the first game?

When I saw, FEAR 3 is comming out, I started to feel really happy! FEAR 1 was great while FEAR 2 was a disaster. So I hoped they changed all that with this new FEAR. And what did they do, they f*cked it even up more. I'm really dissapointed :(
