Monster Manor Door?

Just wondering, but does anyone know why the door in Monster Manor is locked? I just bought the house, but he door inside on the bottom floor is locked. Is that where they kept the monsters or something?

No its not where they keep the mosters. I dont know how to open it myself but i do know it leads to a chest if you go by a house that has a gate in the front yard surrounded by moderately tall grass not to far from the manor youll notice in the back there is a chest you cant get to that way but there is an ally way leading to it and that ally way starts at the manor
