- "Surprisingly good"
First before buying any game I go through the reviews as I went for this one and found out that the reviews were not that quite satisfactory but since I had nothing to play I bought this game and installed and started playing.
At first I was moved with the graphics and the world design it is very good, pleasant and enjoyable, was really taken away with it.
Then comes the gameplay which is also quite good. You have always two choices with you, either become a bad character or a good character when you have key interactions in the game.
Other interactions are really stupid and wanted, dancing, kissing, pat a cake......whatever in which you become gay, bisexual or remain straight. You can also marry and have children, buy and rent properties for income and so on(you need to explore this feature all by yourself)I found it dull and boring except till I married a girl(Elise) made her a queen moved to castle and had two children(hahaha....funny part...wish I could do this in real life)
You can use a gun, magic or mele or a combination of all three. You can upgrade them as the game progresses.
Enemies are not that challenging but easy to kill.
The story is good for this kind of game.It is also interesting if you look it from a fantasy point of view, quite enjoyable.
There is a lot to explore and if you plan to do side quests along with the main quest it is really beneficial from the main game point of view and takes long time.
The overall gameplay is designed to be user friendly I guess where the player has to do less research.
In games like Dragon Age Origins you need to a lot of research and go through the original game documentation and guide to analyze and develop your game(character, mana, strategy, point assign on various aspect points, etc.)but here they have hidden many complications and tried to present it in a very simple way
which is good for starters and amateurs. But for hardcore gamers won't enjoy this.
If the developers have done a little bit more on the main aspects this game had a lot of potential to be among the top legendary ones but not just quite there yet.
Overall you will enjoy it and it is a good game, buy it and play it,it won't disappoint.
