It didn't take me that many tries to get Timmy and Slow Joe to win once each and nail me a good 200k+, but this 2nd time at the tracks, I've been much more unlucky. Betting on Avenger and even Mr. Cluckles just won't do, too small odds (/winnings). Thus frustration let me to look up the gig online. And I read on a single google result page that the chickens' speeds are also related to how quickly we place our bet - longer we take, slower they are; quicker we bet, faster they are. Since it advised to bet on Avenger, I presume it could be that the longer we take to bet, the more the normal/usual speed of the chicken is reduced. Supposing this works, to get the Col. to win, we'd have to place a bet lightning fast on him and then much more slowly on all the other chickens. PS: This would be a capitalist autocratic world if commercials weren't forcefully shoved down our throats. Be a good citizen and bend over, damn it!
