please don't tell me i have to get this kinect crap to continue playing this childish piece of crap.. come on Fable 1 and 3 were amazing, wasn't to big of a fan of 2 but still why did they go from this epic tale to this? They should have ended it while they were ahead -_-
I loved Fable 3 and hated the other 2. But i agree that this game should not be just based on kinect.
Almost all kinect games are garbage. Fable 3 was disapointing and now Kinect + Fable= ?? I just don't know what to expect from this
1 Like I was a big Fable fan until Fable 3 came out... I guess it was my mistake for buying a game souly based on it's predecessor...
Lionhead is milking fable too much. It's a shame that it's only gotten worse since fable 1. They should have thrown in the towel before it was too late.

i say give them a try, i'm sure they'll have a demo out for it. yes kinect has some issues with it... the main problem I have with it, is the simple fact of having to move with your feet. it's not out of laziness I just cant seem to get it to do what i want at times, and for those who consider themselves serious gamers, instead of calling it a fad why not talk to the gaming companys to improve the technology, is it not also part of a serious gamer to give feedback on what or how things should be improved instead of just kicking it to the side and calling it a failure. other than that i'm sure the game will turn out great. it may just be like the second and third, but who knows maybe they'll finally be able to turn the tables.
Kinect only? Are they serious? Maybe they'll pull a rabbit out of their hat and make Journey something memorable, but Kinect does not have a good track record. Most serious gamers see motion-control as a fad, so this is a very risky move. Without very high scores from review sites, gamers will be hesitant to open their wallets for this.
The inclusion of rifles kind of dampened my anticipation of the second game. The first was (especially for its time) a breath of fresh air and a very aesthetically pleasing game, but the second seemed somewhat like a retread of past ideas. The third was good, but the formula needs to be further innovated on, because the Fable series simply isn't pushing the envelope.
1 I haven't played since it came out and I remember loving it. The second was pretty well done as well. I didn't finish 3 it didn't live up to the expectations...I question their decision to make another installment to the series...this game needs to be above and beyond the previous titles to grab my interests.
I played part 1 on my old xbox, and it was so bad i played it for 20min and I was already done it was that bad, one of the worst games made for xbox , and they still are on it making sequels to this crap game, stop wasting your time on this junk , if you have anything better to do then finish Milo at least that game is original ....
fable 2 is honestly one of my favourite games...out of all the games to come out of the latest generation of consoles its definitely in my top 5. 3 however left me feeling horribly underwhelmed and now this? kinect only? ARE THEY TAKING THE PISS? Kinect is a gimmick it is not a proper form of console gaming, wii, move, kinect, eyetoy...its just not the same. Christ fable has so much potential and yet its going to be wasted again.

So Fable 1 was good, Fable 2 was really good, and Fable 3 was terrible. Gay dancing in the streets for better prices? Not for me. Will I be forced to have gay sex in this one to get a new sword? And this is Kinect only? What a bad marketing idea. Count this frivolous spender out.
How are suppose to play that on KINECT, I'll pretend to drink a potion in front of my TV!!!
Hey, that looks like one of the wagons from Driftwood in Fable 3. How can that be, I'm quite sure I killed everone on the island. It can't be from Mourningwood either, I turned that place into an open sewer and killed everyone who stayed.
Guaranteed this will be a load of total utter garbage just like Fable 3, staying clear of this one !
Fable 1 was one of the greatest games i have ever played. Then Fable 2 was hyped and hyped for next gen, and when it finally came out I was utterly disappointed. Then Fable 3 came out with a bunch of the same issue the 2nd game had yet slightly still better. And now this garbage. I do have a hunch that Microsoft has really been leaning on Lionhead to hawk its kinect garbage to hard core gamers but for Lionhead to sell out so hard on there best series is just offensive and that is partially why I think Moleunoux quit. Heres hoping for an Epic open world reboot in the land of Albion!
this trailer sucked. I like fable but often find it COSMETIC in a lot of ways. Hope this actually delivers.
Really really enjoyed the first fable, and I own the second one but have never finished it. That is on my to do list for sure as I was enjoying it. I have heard nothing but bad things concerning fable 3 however so I dunno if I will even give it a chance but this one looks promising.
The best thing Lionshead could do for this franchise is not let Peter Molyneux anywhere near it ever again. Oh, and for the love of god don't let him near a camera or microphone to try and sell the game! There were alot of issues with Fable 3, but the biggest, the cardinal sin of video games, was that it was so BORING! Let's hope they have learnt their lessons, because there is still potential for this series.
I enjoy the Fable series and I'm definitely looking forward to a Kinect game I would want as someone who mainly plays "serious" games. So I'm looking forward to see where this goes.
com'on i really wanna like this series...... but every sequel they make its worst than the previous one...... it will be nice if the fourth hit the jackpot like the original!!!!
thay should bring back jack of blades, cause fable 1 lost chapters was the best of them all it was just awesome with the acadamie and al that they ned to go back to basics

booo. fable 2 is still the best (arguably) best char dev in my opinion, the chest system can get lost
xbox 360 only e?i bet my ass it will be only for xbox and not only that ...They use that crappy kinect...I wish they could finally bring back swords age and jack of blades...a reboot or something ..Those crappy abberations with guns and Machines really ruin the magic of the Fable World...
i want to believe this game is gonna be great i really do but we all know this is gonna be dumbed down to the max and easy as hell. i like that they went back to the old style
