Question about "Supposed" rewards for finishing DLC.

Ok, now I sadly never have played this game until, well, now. Anyways, I was told by a friend, whom while I really like greatly, isn't the most, reliable, about this kinda information, mainly because he gets really confused about where certain things he gets/does in a game ACTUALLY HAPPEN, but he told me this, that when you beat each of the games DLC add-ons, you get a bonus +2 to any stat. Is that true? I mean, it sounds great and all, but, I don't think they'd actually do something like that, so I think he remembered where he got some bonus wrong again. Well, thanks for any answers, bye for now.

Besides the whole + 5 level cap idk but i heard that you can gain one special point from Lonesome Road as well as two from Old World Blues.

I'd say no.
I didn't get any points added to SPECIALs for completing DLC.
Game became unplayable before finishing OWB.
There are other benefits such as Items and Perks you can only get from DLC.

this makes me laugh. I have a friend like this too. he keeps getting fallout 3 and new vegas mixed up. Of course he has 2 kids under 5, so its hard for him to get 45 un-interupted minutes to concentrate on any game. Which is how it should be.

I think there is very good wiki's for this. so if that was to happen, im sure it would be very well advertised. do you mean the S P E C I A L stats??????

a + 2 to each of them is a big jump. You can buy implants to bump them one.. for like 4000 caps, I think.

I have never heard this, that does not mean its not true, just I can not confirm it. I would not worry about it. Just play and enjoy the game. a Friendship is not worth arguing over how some silly game works. sooner or later, you friend will learn his talks crapola most of the time, and you can tactfully rub it in his face.

No but you can get a crap load of gold which is worth a lot of caps from Dead Money if you pick it up and move quick enough to get out of there without the old bastard noticing you.
