Are there mirelurks in this game?

I really wanna fight some my friend said they were in fallout 3 and he thought they were in new vegas, too. Are there any?and if so where can i find them?

there are NO MIRELURKS in New Vegas. there are Lakelurks though. but those aren't mirelurks.

Yes there is just not that much look around i think lake mead.

Lake Lurks are around lake mead, i've got come across any actual mirelurks

Soapy illusion is correct, while there are no mirelurks, lakelurks are just mirelurk kings and can be found quite prominently around a natural water source.
