What's with the female running animation?

Am I glitched or does it just look... weird. Totally different from FO3.
Also whenever I try and put the indiana jones hat on from wild wasteland it glitches real bad.
It's putting me off starting playing. =/

They did change the running animation from Fallout 3. Looks kind of silly to me when you have a weapon drawn. And that Indiana Jones hat looks really ridiculous to me too. It sits way to far up on his head.

Both genders have different animations. My opinion is that they are much better.
Oh, and the female's Indy hat is supposed to look like whatever it is. Females don't get the normal one.

I agree with Hatchet, the NV animations are much better. Also, that hat is complete trash; on men it is rediculously high up and on women it's an ugly veil thing.
The good ol' pre war hat is the way to go for classy headwear, IMO.

The big problem I see with the female running animation is if you run sideways (I forgot whether if it's to the right or left), her arm would just mutate and twist in weird ways...

there are plenty of "proper" looking top hats, its just that one that changes (the dapper gamblers hat or whatever).
try any of the cowboy hats, hands down the desperado cowboy hat is my favorite hat.
there should be some options that dont change based on gender some people might want to cross-dress. it also makes the psycho killer characters more interesting if they can come off as "silence of the lambs" looney too.

The running animations were slightly changed from Fallout 3 to New Vegas. imo the female animations for New Vegas are far superior. 3's one just loo really off to me.
