I really admire Adam West, I grew up watching the original Batman series. Yep, I'm that old. But nowadays when I think of him, I think of his "sausage" tree in Quahog. LOL!

He is more Batman than Christian Slater will ever be. Let's all sign a petition to get him a batmobile

honestly .. i'll say it now. I was a bit confused ... I couldn't really hear his answers and there was a million people around us and they even were taking pictures. He was very nice - I just couldn't really hear him. Also .. backed out of that calling him old thing..as FAST as I could. I 'meant' like the OG Batman..I wish I would have said that.
1 Like Adam West isn't as down to earth and humble as you might think. I waited in line for hours to get his autograph at Comic-Con, only to find out that he was charging $40 and you weren't allowed to take a picture unless you gave him another $40.
5 Like @vongroove Comic-Con is fantastic, which is why it sold out in 90 minutes this year. I'm sure you do plenty of things that I would consider time-wasters, but I wouldn't insult you for it. Your comment, though, is idiotic.

Oh come on, give the guy a break! It's not like he has the luxury of the over-exaggerated self-importance of more recent incarnations of The Batman to surplant his income. Give him his due, he brought a lot of joy to fans, and still has maintains an enthusiasm for The Craft - Mr. West will always have a place in my heart.
man he has the funniest voice. all i can think when i hear him is him and the cat launcher and the cat named 'paul'.
The years have been kind to him. Wish more roles like voice-overs or maybe a few movie appearances comes his way. The original Batman for me always. Wish i was there to shake his hand.
Got a lot of respect for Adam West, the man has lost none of his awesome over the years. Funny and down to Earth.

2 Like He is freaking awesome as mayor West. It seems like he isn't really acting on the show. He is just a funny dude in a very quirky way. I normally don't like the very weird humor that doesn't make much sense, but he pulls it off beautifully.
