1.Graphics
Dunia engine is one amazing engine. Its so far one of the very few engine that can be as good as Cry engine 2.0 which used in Crysis. And because of that, it suffered of what is actually PC gamer doesn't like to have, high requirement. Which force you to spend a lot of money to upgrade your PC so that the game can preformed beautifully. In occasion where massive explosion or a hail of fire strafing will sometimes cause the game to lag for a few seconds. Despite it having an awesomes graphic, its not everything. Cause for the reason below.

2.Gameplay
Far Cry 2 its not an easy game to begin with, as your protogonist can't actually freely roam around the map although the map display that you can just go anywhere you want. The gameplay is actually very good to begin with, but as you progress, so does the enemies. At the beginning you will easily ambush and sniped them at your wish without much resistance from them, but at later stage you will randomly encounter a large number of them in raiding party and seems that they have a taste of the diamaonds you collected. The weapon part is the only thing that keep the game from being dissatrous, as the firing sound its highly accurate and the design stick truthfully to the real thing although you will be annoyed to found out it stay so truthfully that it lowered graded weapons are prone to jammed and you will be spending time trying to unjammed while your enemies unleash a hailed of lead towards you. There is one thing that make the game a total fall out, that its the unnecesary long distance travel and the repitation of fixing your damaged vehicle, which the only thing that keep you on the move. Even though the game can be travelled on foot, you will prefer to stick to your wheels as its a long tedious drive from point A to point B, walking......it just don't work in this game.......

3.Storyline
The weird thing about this game is that it for a game that put tons of effeort in develioping the storyline, it seems that the developers hardly make anything to keep the story interesting. You will begin by falling ill and laid in a hotel, where you encountered The Jackel, the guy you really, really I mean really wanted yo put a bullet into his head(change my mind after at the end). You will tried to flee from the civil war between militia groups and finally fall down unconcious, the interesting part ends there and the tedious part begins, you will be treated, armed and go around killing militia and saving hostages. Treated again, armed and search for the next mission. The game has the free for all contract to joined any militia group you pleased and a few partners to hang around and helping you in the game. It actually makes the game as free for all as possible, it works, in online game, but it hardly make any sense out of it as your partner is nothing more than a mere AI. It will not chat like a true living person. The game is so free for all that you will feel that:"when this game gonna have a special highlight!" It does have, but its a long, tedious and seemingly endlless of dull mission and contracts just to get that highlight. Which most gamers would find themslves lost in time and wanted to bang thier head to the screen or just fall asleep on your desktop table.

4.AI
The AI featured in the game is pretty good. Though enemies will have lesser health, they make up for having prefectly unjammed weapons, which you will found out it still proned to jammed only for you. Your partner will done a decent job fighthing along your side, but still its a fustration that he/she can't do much when you are seriously wounded in battle, mainly as the AI prefer to save you even if means killing or seriously injured him/her in the process, as the AI know he/she sucks at shooting bad guys and will risk saving your live so that you will get back up and shoot them for him/her. If your partner is seroius woulded, you can either save her/him or put an end to his/her misery(which most of us hate to do that cause he/she will save you most of the time)

Overall
A well done engine can't make up for its boring and seemingly endless story along with its dull gameplay. Gamespot put it an 8.5 as a pity score so that the game at least have some pride in it. But in truth you will learn that the game will make you fall asleep as if you are doing an online studies or research. I don't reccomant it cause it have a lot of flaws that a good game engine just can't covered up eveything.
