Choices/Multiple Endings?

Are there multiple ways off the Island? I remember reading a few months ago something about it, but I can't find anything now and I'm starting to think I just imagined it all. Can anyone shed any light on this for me?

Yes, there are two different endings. At the end of the game, you can press L1 for "one ending" or R1 for the "other ending." I am replaying it now to see how the other ending pans out.
