Okay so this should be easy to answer I just can't figure it out. When the tutorial for the bow controls popped up I missed which button to press to cancel a shot if you have already drawn the arrow back. Help please?

If you have trouble try double tapping X, one click is never enough for me.

do you have special arrows? seems theres a glitch where having equipped special arrows, then switching back to normals via X prevents you from de-nocking arrows until you use all of the equipped special arrows. it also displays the wrong total for normal arrows, confusing it with the total of special ones. it MAY only glitch when its your LAST normal arrow, but i think its just wonky regardless. also, you can never de-nock special arrows, it just switches back to normals (pbly where the error lies in this glitch). de-nocking throwables is totally undoable, probably for realism laws (try putting out a molotov like Marston in RDR, or de-triggering a grenade)

That's it! I was on one arrow. So for whatever reason it wouldn't let me cancel my single arrow. Is that how it always is? That sucks if it is. But thank you! I was going crazy.
