Going to keep this short and sweet maybe a little bitty bitter in fact.

Single Player - [4.5 / 5]
Far Cry 3's campaign has to be one of the best campaigns I've played this year.. Possibly ever. Especially for an Fps, It actually surprised me. The Story, Characters and Open World just make you want to keep on playing. Sadly but gladly I have completed the story with-in a weekend, I would not say the Campaigns to short or too long, but I admit to spending long hours playing the game. Just the great Characters and Storyline made me want to find out the happened and what happens to my friends and what becomes of the psychopaths that hold my friends captive. Don't want to say much in case of spoilers so I will let you play and be the judge.

Co-op Missions - [3.5 / 5]
I will be honest as I have been Co-op for me is a one-time play. Fun the first time with your friends.. Well kinda. If you try and bypass the fact missions seem like just killing waves and waves of bad guys over and over again. Co-op is a miss for me not just in Far Cry but in most games.. *Cough cough: Halo 4* I feel that the time could have been used to enhance online multiplayer or maybe a few more missions in single player.

Multiplayer - [1.5 / 5] (Including Map Editor)
Online is no match to the likes of Halo and Call of Duty, it's really quite basic and bland really but its real cute the fact it's trying to be. Ok so big deal there are thousands if not millions of map to play on it has basic game modes etc. etc..
At first I was like "Wow" then I was like "Oh". For sum MAD BIZZARE reason Ubisoft decided to take Vehicles out of multiplayer.. Why? No idea, not one! And they decide to torment me further by letting you add AI animals into Map editor on single player only? What is that about? Really disappointing knowing that I will never get to enjoy racing my friends on quad bikes around a custom made map, survive shark infested waters or hunt wild animals with my friends. Far Cry 2s map / vehicle use was actually the only reasons I bought the game in the first place to play online on maps with my friends for a bitty of fun none of this hard-core multiplayer hype.

Overall Opinion – [7 /10] (My Overall Opinion)
Ok I am student with a part time job and had a bit of money to spare to buy the game. Take my advice and take it off your Christmas list if you were expecting a long lasting game and just rent it from your nearest Blockbusters for a week/end (Even just to try the game out) you will still get the full enjoyment of the single player without having to wait until Christmas and save yourself the money on a game that for me will be handed in or left to gather dust.
Could have would have got my vote for Game of the Year if multiplayer lived up to that in Far Cry 2. Edged on a 6.5 but the amazon campaign deserved a 7 / 10.
