Coming from a far cry fan with tenure, I feel as if this game is lacking in some areas. I love the direction the game tried to go towards but I can't help but sense that they were ripping and grabbing from other games throughout the entire process, but what game doesn't? RPG like depth is crammed down your throat in a half assed skyrim esque manner. "Skyrim with Guns" yea right. Skyrim was a masterpiece that took years to develop. This game needed more time put into it, much more time into it. Not to get off track, but the RPG side of the game needed more oomph. I mean, the leveling system is almost identical to borderlands with the introduction of the perk tree. Skills like guns, sneak, driving, hunting, that all improve as you use them depending on you're play style could have and should have been added. What erked me the most was that theres no vehicles in the multiplayer... not only that but its impossible to find decent matches, unless all you want to play is domination. Once you get in a game it lags and switches hosts once someone rage quits. Basically, they took out "far cry" from the multiplayer and tried to mash in COD... ending horribly. The multiplayer is just so horrible its hard to even stomach it.Yes the story line is immersive. Don't get me wrong, there is tons of beautiful land to explore, and wow... theres loot... not... you find random stuff to sell. and relics that give you xp, how original! All in all this game is like disappointing intercourse, your happy you had it but it just wasnt satisfying. I'm beating this game and selling it. Why i didn't redbox it I have no idea.
