Contrary to most of the reviews being written about Far Car 3 there are lots of things to love and a few things to hate about the game. The game does a good job of engaging the player with blissful environments, crafty weaponry, and iconic characters most notably Vaas who is the most sinister to say the least. Apart from the obvious fits of insanity Vaas offers that small bit of comic relief but quickly reminds you that he is insane and is serious about his intentions. This all happens seamlessly with minor subtleties.

The open world is a sight to behold and truly looks like a paradise; besides the gunfights, shipwrecks, and dead bodies of course. Its not hard to imagine the feeling of being there once you're left to wonder and traverse the island. Predators lurk and prowl the landscape as well as the sea and pirates covertly patrol the island. Enemies respond to radio calls or alarms to give reinforcement and allies arrive to offer you a ride when you complete certain missions. It all adds to the realism of the open world.

One of the problems I have with the game is the save feature. I found myself saving then having to do allot of what I did over again. The menus are overly tedious and leaving a mission area ever so slightly means failure then your left to do it over again. The enemies uttering slurs and complaints became repetitious and annoying. Most times complaining about the heat, not being paid enough, or failing to wear a condom the night before with the previous harlot. It all leaves little to be desired that these crafty mistakes could've been ironed out. Albeit, the game offers an experience that is more than I can say for most first person games. Uniquely fun and with the classiest touch it still left me smiling. :)
