I`m considering buying the Insane edition of FC3...but one thing is bothering me a lot:will there be dedicated servers?As i can`t find that info anywhere,None of the previews is saying a word bout that.I`m starting to think that Ubi is hiding that fact.Cause if not,it`s gonna kill that game :(
And that would be a damn shame,as game looks really,really sweet.
So damn strange that no one asked that question which is basicly most important one,at least for me.

I do hope not too explorable like second farcry, i liked original one best where was linear but same time large and explorable. I dont normally like shooters with sidequest but farcry 3 i give a shot.
theses fken 30 sec windows comercials are getting annoying. same commercial over and over and over and over so plz ether get more comercials or just stop reusing the same damn one.
is the guy on the left answering questions or practicing improv? lol. Answered a lot of questions I had wondered about the game, I'd just like to see some more details on the weapon system.. will there be mortars? if so, will they be easier to use? what other "fun guns" will the game feature? How is currency obtained?

1 Like Hunting animals? It's the big thing now. Pops up in AC:USA. Cheers to Red Dead for that option (but perhaps there are other games that pioneered this?). I'm very much looking forward to FC3.
it wasnt all that bad... nut i never finished it. repetitive... nad after i had to drive for 10 minutes from place to place, i gave up.
@russian_takeout @Gblazer01 For me, I was so disappointed cuz i loved the first one(top ten games all time). FC2 totally sucked shit ! sorry bad language. I'm hoping FC3>FC1>FC2.
I hope there will be civilians in this game. FC2's story was ruined for me by fighting for civilians that you never saw until the final cutscene. It would be much better if you could opperate in a populated landscape. Would make it interesting and lend some weight to immersion. Then again there will probably be a thousand "no russian" themed videos released on the internet to prove that we gamers are a genocidal bunch.
@1mmortlality I'm playing it now and can definitely tell you it's a populated world... at least from what i've played so far.

Games need to be pretty,it encourages immersion and exploration-loose yourself in there...I love it. If the two juvenile morons appearing in the video are part of the Far Cry team then it is no wonder Far Cry 2 was so pathetic - they match. Far Cry 3 is just as likely to be as pathetic as its predecessors and I will definitely not be purchasing a copy.

far cry 2 was absolutely awful, the respawning checkpoints alone is enough to give it a 3 out of 10. Definitely wait for the reviews on this one guys. I was completely baffled by the good scores the second received. Then again, the first one was one of the best FPS's I ever played so there is still a lot of hope for this one.
This game is now so far from the old Far Cry 1 game which used rock until the hackers have taken over the game. I hope they can stop th server crashers and hackers or FC 3 will fail too lik FC 2 failed. They need to hide the server info so the hackers cannot crash the servers easily. They need to keep up the Anti-cheat programs to keep the game fair and fun. Gorgot, Illyrian, Parcheezian, war, Jean Jean, plus more are all hackers. There are lots of hacking clans now in FC 1 now. Bottom line is Keep the game fair and it will last as long as FC1!!!
Yes, They have some new stuff in FC3 that is not in FC1. FC3 is more like BF3 now. You can drop bombs on people, stun people. and multi players for only 4. The best thing about FC1 was anyone could pick it up and play and have lots of fun. Not many buttons to push. FC3 is not close to FC1. So many changes from now. FC1 has been around for a long time and people still love it. FC2 was a big disapointment and it too was much different from FC1. So I really think the FC1 players will stick around since it is so easy to play. But like I said, the hackers have taken over just about every game now especially FC1. We need to figure out how to ip ban them so they will be stopped and hide the ip address so it cannot be crashed. If they do not fix these problems then FC3 will be like FC2 and not last very long or have many players. They need to develop a Anti-Cheat system!!!! Very Important!!!!!
1 Like I am more concern about the present game. The past is over and this game is different than the first two....I will enjoy this game as I did the last two.
I'm still going to wait for the reviews before purchasing... Although the game looks good, the hud and all the icons seem too exagerated for a guy is in a jungle(I mean... It would be ok if this was a deus ex or crysis game.)
Also the combat doesn't feel satisfying to me, seeing enemies through walls is a turndown...
Last note: The end of the respawning outposts is a plus but no outposts at all would be what we all wanted...(a game like Farcry1,that's what everyone wanted).
All the problems of Far Cry 2 seem to have been fixed. No more respawning check points, no malaria, and the ability to warp throughout the map, which means less driving.
This game just keeps looking better and better.
I really do need to know more about Far Cry's co-op content. specifically, it's length, and forward (DLC) support. I am however, already sold on purchasing this game pretty much first day. But would be delighted to learn that it's co-op (unlikely) is weightily fleshed-out

I feel like I've already played this game with all the trailers they've released. It keeps pushing me closer and closer to not buying. I feel like when I get it there'll be no surprises. I've basically seen everything to see.
I also had this problem. My solution is: only watch a few trailers, if after that you like the game -> wait for it to come out and buy it. I did this with AC3 and Halo 4, only watched a few trailers and then waited. This way you will not get spoilers on the story.
