Fig or Morgoth could probably weigh in on this, but the playable Demo is a lot older than the game itself, and you won't get anywhere near that type of performance with the full version.

Well there are 2 demos. The first one pre-dates the retail FC, and that was a mess by itself. Even try to play FC unpatched? yeah. So, it has some real performance issues. Not to mention the glitches and overall bugginess. The 2nd demo is, however, a bit more stable. Still not without it's flaws, but a better tool to judge the game by, nonetheless.

756mb ram at 133mhz
nvidia 5200 fx 128mb video card, PCI
I have been playing Far Cry on low settings fine with only slowdowns occuring at a couple
of areas for a short time.

Does Far Cry: Instincts have the same story as the PC Far Cry? Because I don't have a high-end computer so I might consider getting Far Cry for my Xbox 360. I've never played Far Cry and I wanted to make sure i'm playing the original not an expansion or something like that.

It's not quite the same game but it includes the original Xbox Version plus the expansion. If you've never played Far Cry at all then the Xbox 360 is the way to go on that.

Extremely, they are noth totally different games - the characters are similar, but the story is different and the gameplay on teh Xbox is based far more on run and gun whereas the PC is much more customisable.

Hey, guys, anyone knows a solution to my problem? Everytime I join a PunkBuster enabled server, I get kicked after a few minutes with a 'Restriction: Invalid game/binary location'. I have the original game with a valid CD-key, patched to 1.33, the latest updated PunkBuster (at least the updater says it's the latest), and have PunkBuster enabled in the multiplayer menu. I have no problem joining a server which hasn't PunkBuster enabled. Please help, thank you.

hey guys can anyone help me. I have the reccommended specifications and latest patches, but whenever I try to run the game, the screen flashes black a few times, and nothing else happens.
