Return to Skytown

Well, go figure; Aurora 217 on Elysia has picked up signs of new Chozo technology. Will the madness ever end?

Head to Elysia and land at the Main Docking Bay, then make your way to Zipline Station Charlie, which was previously inaccessible to you thanks to the powered lock on it. Power it up (grapple it and hold up on your analog stick), then ride the zipline and screw attack your way to the far side.

When you reach the interior of the room here, use your seeker missiles to unlock the passage leading onward, then drop down to the room beyond. After scanning everything inside, jump up to the platform at the rear of the room and use your grapple on the fallen piece of machinery. This part's kind of tricky: you need to enter Hypermode, then grapple the cog up into the air, then hit it with a hypermissile while it's flipping through the air. Doing so will lodge it back onto the machine and let you access the Spider Ball.

The Spider Ball will let you cling to magnetic rails by holding the Z button while you're near one. You can propel yourself to lower and higher rails by using bombs or simply letting go of the button. (If you're trying to get yourself up to a higher rail, be sure to lay your bomb and then hold up on the analog stick to influence your movement.) You can also jump from one side of a chasm to another with the boost ball maneuver by holding down B and letting it go.

Returning Topside

After you get the powerup, there'll be a hole in the ground. Drop through it and start spiderballing your way around. You'll need to drop in a few spots to move on, but there's only one real way to go, so follow the path. Eventually you'll reach a platform you can stand on. There's another track leading up, but if you poke around, you'll find another, harder to see path near the edge of the platform. You can follow that one to reach a Missile Expansion.

Return to Zipline Charlie here. You can't use the zipline to get back across the chasm, but you can screw attack your way to a spiderball track, so do so. Start scaling the spiderball track until you reach the electrical generators that hover above the area. You need to boost yourself across the gaps that they create, being careful to avoid their electrical charges; if you get zapped, you won't be able to use your spiderball and you'll fall to the ground. There's an Energy Tank in between the first and second generators, but you'll need to doublejump your way up to it.

Make your way back to your ship. You can pick up Energy Cell 8 in the Ballista Storage room (where you originally got the boost ball), and you can also nab a Ship Missile Expansion in the Hoverplat Docking Site if you see the spiderball tracks as you screw attack your way around. There's also a Missile Expansion in the Steambot Barracks area. Use the halfpipe to get up to the upper level, then walk around the elevator and roll into the pipe there. Navigate through the tubes until you reach a spiderball track and head up.

Collections

Now would be a good time to travel between the worlds and collect any remaining items that you want to pick up. First off, you'll probably want to head back to the Chozo Observatory, where you can launch a satellite showing you all the item pickup locations on Elysia, in addition to the pickups you've unlocked on the other planets. Some of them will still require the final suit and beam weapon upgrades, so if you want to wait until you have those items before making a sweep, feel free to do so. Otherwise…

Elysia

Missile Expansion: Head to Concourse Ventilation, where some large wall panels are located, and head to the bottom of the room and find the magnetic rail track. Ride up there to reach the Missile Expansions.

Bryyo

Missile Expansion: Land at the Federation Hangar Bay and head towards the Hall of Golems. You probably have already activated two of the golems here in previous visits; if not, you can activate all of them now. Regardless, activate the grapple voltage on the golem to power up the spiderball track and follow it to the missiles. You'll have to doublejump from one track to a higher one at one point here; just keep your finger jammed on the Z button and you should do fine.

Energy Tank: Head to Bryyo Fire and proceed from there back to Bryyo Ice. Behind the Hall of Remembrance there's a room called Tower. At the bottom, you'll find a spiderball track. It can be a tricky track, but if you get to the end you'll find your tank.

Norion

Missile Expansion: Land your ship at Cargo Dock A. There's a spiderball track that almost reaches the ground near one of the doors here; find it and ride it up to the missiles.

Pirate Homeworld

Missile Expansion: Head to the Command Center landing pad and make your way through the Command Courtyard to reach Flux Control. Head all the way to the bottom of the path here and flip the grapple points over the ball paths until you reach the one that ends in a spiderball path. Follow it up a bit and you'll find the missiles.
