Those pesky DmC bosses giving you trouble? GameSpot is on hand with some tips to help you slay those dastardly demons.
CAUTION, SPOILERS!
Boss battles. Love them or loathe them, they're a regular occurrence in demon hunter Dante's latest outing. DmC: Devil May Cry offeres up bouts with bosses as varied as they are hideous; pitting the player against knife wielding hunter demons, a foul-mouthed succubus, and even the grotesque spawn of an unholily union between two abominations. Delightful.
Some of these battles can prove challenging, especially on higher difficulty levels. So to lend a helping hand we've put together some useful videos for anyone tired of being mauled by Mundas Spawn, savaged by The Succubus, or brutalised by Bob Barbas.

Only watched the Mundus Spawn video, as it's the only one that was challenging. Though the video doesn't really explain how to do it in much detail and missed out when you attack the weak spot on his side, you can only attack for a few seconds before you'll get hit.
i just love it so much but the fact that the game is just to easy makes me mad like really i wanna think and have some hard time in the game but ather then that i looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooove it
They have lost their minds. Succubus is the easiest boss to defeat. I defeated her on Dante Must Die without taking a hit. Bob Barbas is incredibly easy. Mundus's spawn can be difficult the first few times because you have to figure out how to easily kill him, but other than that, the bosses in this game are ridiculous.
I smiled when I read this in my email. They can't possibly be serious. Credo in Devil May Cry 4 on Dante Must Die without items and devil trigger was a challenge, the rest of the bosses in the game were fairly easy. This game's bosses had me surprised at how weak they were. If you have trouble with this game, shame on you. Don't try playing the older DMC's. I defeated Vergil in two tries on Dante MUST DIE in this game (shame on me for forgetting he had devil trigger and forgetting I can't attack him when he's regenerating health. TOO EASY!
im missing the old dmc bosses from a long time and hope soooo...in the future of dmc , we see an excellent performance such dmc 4 the legendary tittle.
@ex_shadi DMC 4 had a better story, but DmC had better gameplay. DMC4 just can't compete with the combat in DmC. There are just too few moves in DMC4 and quite a lot in DmC that makes the difference. That and the fluidity. The movements look more natural instead of a tad choppy like they were in DMC4
The only hard boss battles are in DMC 1...Nightmare was literally a nightmare to Kill. Jheez I hated him/her. Boss battles from DMC 4 were a joke..
2 Like Pro-tip to you, new player that never played any Devil May Cry besides this one:
If you're having a hard killing these bosses, then I suggest that you stay away from Devil May Cry 1, 3 and 4, for your own sake...
1 Like the last boss is the only boss that feels like it belongs in a dmc game, still too easy though.
3 Like bleh, sanctus in DMC4 is far more challenging than all of them . . . . . . .

5 Like They don't even look that cool at all. Bael in DMC4 or Nevan in DMC3 looked better.
