I'm ready for this. I havn't bought a real game in a year, but Rockstar hasn't let me down yet.
I was wondering the same thing Callen. That, and I don't think I've really seen anyone diving or doing anything kinda fancy. I know winning is what matters in this case. (Pretty nice payoff Btw). ,But I thought the range of movement was supposed to help?
Been alot of peek-a-boo around corners though. MAN, I can't wait to get my shot at this game....
Ah, this is cool. Getting to see a lil of what MP is like right before it comes out. Wish I would have known about this earlier. =)
MLG should take note of and consider what it's doing right now to promote professional gaming in the future. They're giving us raw multiplayer gameplay footage before the game is released. This sparks interest in the community (myself and others) to check out new games. What keeps me gripped is the skilled players competing for prize money.
If they properly collaborate with publishers and other sites, such as gamespot, they could continue this trend. Instead professional gamers should play weeks before a game is released to hype it, to make it look better by showing off the phenomenal things someone can do in their game. This would help the video game industry with better sales, while the professional gaming industry would also thrive, mutually. MLG receives money from the publishing companies as advertisement. That money is used for bigger prizes. This attracts more professional gamers.
Just a thought.
@stratfender89 i agree with what your saying i think they should do this with counter-strike global offensive if you have heard of it since its the most competetive series ever made when it comes out
oh i wouldnt be dissing maxpayne at all
but
have you seen the review scores?
some pretty big names are giving it a freaking perfect score
and most people are giving it a 90%ish score
...I wanna see some diving from the second floor or something. Thats the issue with MLG. No room for fun experimenting.
