PAX 2012: We get commentary straight from the developers on the two latest additions to the PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale lineup.
If the reveals for Evil Cole MacGrath and Raiden weren't enough, developer SuperBot Entertainment has pulled back the curtain on two more fighters for its upcoming mascot brawler, PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale. Nariko, the red-headed heroine from Heavenly Sword, and Sir Daniel Fortesque, the skeletal warrior from the MediEval series, are joining the fray. We caught up with SuperBot's own Omar Kendall and Sony Santa Monica's Seth Killian to get a detailed demo of how these warriors fight.
We're looking forward to getting our hands on these characters on the show floor, but you can see all the action for yourself in the video below:

No Balance in genders... Except for Nariko and fat princess they only put male heroes in the game.

@Madmac88 To be fair there's only 3 female characters in Brawl's 35 (4 if you count the female ice climber)
@Zepthire95 It's not like I compared it to Brawl but you got a point there. Anyways, there are yet more characters to be announced so who knows.

What do I really care about? A Final Fantasy character. Could be any of them;
Cloud, Squall, Kain, Cid (FF7), Vincent, Zell, Sephiroth, Cecil, WOL, Caius, Lightning, etc...
They are so varied, you can't go wrong.

am big fan of sony play station stuff and characters i have the 5 consoles of sony
but am not sure to get this game becuase they put mature games character with kids style game
i dont know ive never played this style of games ive never played on wii or gamecube

@Rsoub i think it's gonna be a blast. yes, they are gonna put a lot of characters out of their standard context, but i have always loved a good brawler that isn't as complex as standard fighting games, it has a certain nintendo style, but sony put together a great team of devs for this title, so i got faith in it
@im2cool123 Apparently it's more strategic than one might think due to the super-KO-only system. At least according to players who've actually tried it. Some 1 on 1 footage would be nice though.

To be more diversified in its rooster, PlayStation All-Stars needs to have characters that are lesser-known. At least I am seeing a character that is lesser known in the name of Sir Daniel Fortesque.
1 Like @thom_maytees Lesser known!? Sir Fortesque is a character I fondly remember of. One of my childhood heroes! The first game was really awesome.
Hum, well at least PSASBR has some more gritty characters than Smash Brothers, I just hope the power ups and other features are as ambitious.
Finally i was worried the leak was wrong and she was not gonna be in.......Was about to cancel my pre order......now its on like donkey kong.......nariko beast mode
its very good that they're getting new characters and all but if sony would really want to get the attention they would put dovahkin on the game.. maybe?
