Thursday is upon us; the end is in sight. Our number four free-to-play slot goes to the FPS Tactical Intervention. Now with vicious attack dogs!
Attack dogs you can throw through windows. That's what Minh Le really wanted, but concerns about upsetting animal rights groups led the Counter-Strike creator to drop the window-tossing option. His upcoming first-person shooter, Tactical Intervention, still has ferocious canines for you to command, but they have to use a door like everyone else. With the numerous tools, game modes, and other tweaks to the CS formula, Tactical Intervention looks to be as close to a true Counter-Strike 2 as we're going to get. The game doesn't just aim to refine the old formula; it expands and adds to it in several interesting ways. You can see all the specifics yourself in the videos below.

Back then I owned a company named deCyber and we created LOADS of maps for various games and was very popular. But it was funny to see how big attention Half-Life mods would get compared to Quake back then. When we had anything for CS our servers got flooded by gamers and I had to beg the hosting company to keep us online so the gamers could download maps. There's no doubt in my mind that Mihn Le's new game will be VERY successful.
You have no idea how much my jaw dropped when I saw that this game let's you do drive-bys. This guy knows his stuff as well, I definitely don't heal as much as I should in Killing Floor just because you have to pull out the medgun. But come on, first person rolling, rapelling, actually being able to shoot from the driver seat, gangsta style shooting. This game is gonna be AWESOME!!!! Too bad it's gonna be pay to win.
They will be giving out cocaine with the game if you pre-order it, so you can be keep up with the "fast"ness while playing this game.
if this is like CS was meant to be played then i will definately try this out for sure. Counter Strike was the best MP fps game ever invented. CS 1.6 AND CS:Source are amazing. If this is follwong that gameplay style im in for sure.
You can kill PEOPLE with wild abandon, but he censored the game to appease PETA? I'll pass. Who wants a shooter from a man with no b***s?
This game looks intense. Lets hope it has the razor sharp (or atleast some) of the design that CS has
This looks bad, BUT I will still check it out because I played counter strike 1.3 - 1.6 for many years.
@JohnoBurr for what i have seen on the GRO trailer, the game has nothing new to offer, it's just another online shooter that has a name of a famous FPS game
It looks OK, but I wouldn't give the guy too much credit, sure Counter-Strike is great fun and the most popular shooter of all time, but Valve did a LOT of work to it, the game itself is waaay more fun than it has any right to be. The idea itself is nothing special at all, and being the "creator" of it means he was the guy with the idea. For those morons among you saying "wwahaaha it looks like crap, ever heard of a thing called technology, prick the last game he made also looked like crap. Yes, even at the time, and look at it now. As I said, the most popular shooting game in the world, and no one gives a 5H!T that it's an aged looking game now by any standards, ESPECIALLY not the 1.6 players. You know the ones who are still making 10x what you are? Yeah those ones.
this game looks like a mod...for HALF-LIFE. Seriously...have you heard of technology!? Might as well go torture myself and play minecraft.
this game has a lot of NICE FEATURES!!! not pretty tou jejeje. The dog, fire, rope, window, cars... Anyway, I hope it gets better and a beta phase start soon
I seriously hope Ghost Recon Online is the last game, because if this game gets mentioned and that doesn't, then this list is pointless.
this looks just horrible. i can't understand why on earth did u mention it on games we should check out...
@Chavis02 I played the closed beta and it was pretty ruff. Hopefully they make it better. Its like a more complicated version of CS but not in a good way so far. Hope it turns out better of the next few months. Also its F2P you don't have to buy it.
