Shaun McInnis has always dreamed of an a open-world driving RPG based on Jack Kerouac's On the Road. Outside of video games, he enjoys photography and learning impractical coffee brewing techniques.
@jayjay444 none of consoles support true 1080 p both actualy play games on 720 p mostly some are (there are upscaled 720p or 460 i games) look up some info ps3 can support 1080 p cuz it has blueray but xbox not becuz it has dvd and 1080 p is too big for dvds (game dvds)
@XxKing_BazexX what do u mean clunky unclear graphics on the xbox? are u stupid or summin? i have a xbox and a ps3 and my xbox plays all games at 1080p HD my ps3 plays most games at 720p including Killzone, mgs resistance, and loads of others. I bet skyrim on the ps3 plays at 720p so i bet the ps3 looks clunky unclear graphics as well as the worst frame rate problem ever on a game. And whats wrong with the xbox version..... nothing got good graphics 1080p high resolution, and no frame rate problems gf kid go buy a xbox or PC because ps3 sucks. P.S i also have a pc and prefair the pc version of skyrim to the console version.
Can't believe people are still arguing about PS3's and XBOX's and which are the better in graphics. :-s Come on, you all knew even before Skyrim came out that the superior version would be the PC. Just like it's previous installments were. :-/ Vanilla PC is better looking than both put together!!! Add texture enhancing mods and it's 100x better :-s. Add more mods and you have your self a great game you can tweak to your hearts content! PC = WIN!
Sorry guys but I think I'll file these under : "It's LOL fun for the first 10 minutes then the novelty wears off" Obviously early days, so I'll give it another 2-3 months before someone creates something that actually value adds to the game.
@XxKing_BlazexX If you read any of the sources, they clearly said that the issue's fix is mostly a temporary one. The framedrop starts due to higher in capacity savefiles, which is the same that happens with Fallout New Vegas and Fallout 3 on PS3. I'm mad? Nope, I'm playing it with better graphics and better framerate on my PC. P.S. That joke's old. =)
@TevoxZi Well, all I have to say is Ps3 OWNS 3fixme, and I have tried both on 3fixme and on Ps3 and let me tell you, Ps3 is better. Have you really compared the two for yourself? Or are you just backing those xbox3fixme fanboys? And btw, I haven't really had ANY problems with it on Ps3. The graphics look amazing, yes it used to lag but they fixed that :), oh and also before you start saying "Well xbox3fixme NEVER had that problem", you just remember those clunky-unclear graphics 3fixme has with that game. P.S. uMaD? :D P.S.S. You deserve an arrow in the knee.
OK. THAT's ENUF of SKYRIM..there are other game in this world!! For God's sake stop with the Skyrim Is killing Chickens ..Skyrim Love, Skyrim this Skyrim that..jeez..
@XxKing_BlazexX Before PS3 gets over its framerate problems in Skyrim, I'd shut it if I were you. =) Before you start giving me the bs of "I don't have any framerate problems" keep in mind Skyrim's, like Fallout 3's and New Vegas' savefiles grow in size and in the amount of RAM they use. PS3 has 256MB of XDR 3.2GHz which isn't enough in capacity in the long run. You might refer to this click me Before you'll jump that gun know this Click me
"I was level 32, with an 8MB save, but after patching it dropped to 6.5MB and unbelievably, Whiterun (which was the area with biggest frame drops in my case) is certainly lag free," said Bethesda forumite Tsoglani. "I believe this patch is working, although I am not giving the all clear yet." On the flip side, CaptainMarvelQ8 said: "Guys, I'm sad to say that this fix is only a temporary one. After three hours playing the lag is back in full force, even worse at times."
Basically what they did was reduce savefile, eventually it'll grow bigger again. As far as your hate for Xbox 360 goes, it has the better GPU, while PS3 might have the better CPU - yet a more complex one. Multiplatform games tend to be done on the Xbox 360 first because of its more PC-like hardware architecture in comparison to PS3's 1x PPE, 7x SPE minicore mechanism in addition to the fact X360 was released first and was therefore chosen as the primary platform to develop onto. Not really hard to guess who got the shorter side of the stick again, is it? Before you'll start calling me an Xbox 360 fan and all that, I'm a PC gamer - and I actually own a PS3 in addition to that. Not to make this any longer than necessary, I'll shut it as well.
I already beat in vanilla mode plus a few texture packs, now I'm going to wait a year and dive back in once the blessed modding community has had some time. I'm thinking...12/12/12?
I can't wait for mods that involve long quest lines with new NPC, areas and voiceover.
I still don't understand why people are getting this game for the 3fixme! The graphics on that system suck. umad 3fixme fanboys? :D
Ive got around 30 mods installed but none of these though :P, though dragon falls manor looks cool.
lol at the explosive chickens  they f*cked the game up so bad, and the explosions are so big, i couldn't help but laugh :P
@M_de_graaff FU!!! Besides, Bethseda probaly would never make any third party mods dlc for your piece of **** consoles anyway.
Ahh yes. Chicken Beat Down LXXVI. That dude hasn't got a chance. Better block your kids from viewing. Young minds could be scarred for life. (So much pecking. So much blood.)
WTF! I'm a console gamer and now I'm regretting not buying this game for PC. Oh, the torture of it all!!! Anyway, RLOL with the exploding chickens. Awesome mods!
Maybe after the tent mod, someone could make some Phoenix Downs so you can be resurrected when you die lol.
Nice vid thanks. Now all we need is a mod that changes the setting to the Wild West, or better yet a completely new Spaghettti-Western style RPG using the Skyrim engine?! I'm amazed that even after the success of Red Dead Redemption we still don't have such a game, it doesn't exist. While there are seemingly endless fantasy/sci-fi RPG games to choose from. I love Red Dead Redemption but I've always longed for a game more complex and involved like Fallout3/Oblivion/Skyrim but set in the Old West. C'mon developers, what's going on?? @excalibeast yes old-school bombs exactly, like a Fistful of Dynamite!
@zeusbark there are 2 house decoration mods on steamworks: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=12338&searchtext=house+decoration http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=11306&searchtext=house+decoration
the 'PORTABLE CAMPSITES' mod is so much better on skyrim nexus the camping mod is not as good
@zeusbark- Give it time. This is the Elder Scrolls modding scene, after all. Those three are top priorities, with furry features running a close fourth.
Awesome, if only these could come as free DLC for the 360 since I dont have the PC version....
