We asked 3D print model artist Psychobob to create a bespoke Claptrap figurine that we'll give away to you guys, as well as copies of the game!
We've been impressed by artist Psychobob's 3D print work based around video game characters and technology. They've included a highly detailed Atlas figure from Portal 2, and a USB-powered Dead Space Rig helmet. So when he said he wanted to work with us to build something to give away, we jumped at the chance.
With Borderlands 2 on the horizon, we thought the best thing to commission would be a build of the series' iconic service robot Claptrap. This video shows how Psychobob built the design using CAD software and is working with a 3D Printing firm to get the model made.

Wow, absolutely great work... The title page picture of the model doesn't seem to do it justice; when you see the model in the CAD software it really shines.

I do 3D modeling if any of you are interested. On my portfolio, you will see a blog of some 3D work I have done. At the moment, I'm modeling an Xbox 360 and its controller.
I love this kind of thing me though. Never used CAD software though before.

yep i got lucky and snatched up the first pre-order on game.co.uk.
what anoyes me is that loads are on ebay........ i really hate people that buy bulk and sell on ebay for a high prices since it stops people getting this awesome set.
