Ground Pass Skill Challenge Problem

Been trying to do this skill challenge for a while. Sometimes when I pass the ball to a player they will receive it and then continue to move of their own accord without me moving any of the analog sticks.

This doesn't seem to be part of the new 'first touch control' feature added into FIFA 13. They tend to move at quite a slow pace like the left analog is pushed in one direction just a little bit. Doesn't happen all the time but still a noticeable amount. It almost feels like lag from EA servers getting quite a launch hammering but why would that effect a part of the game that has (for the most part) nothing to do with online.

I am wondering why this happens and if it happens to anyone else.

In other news: this skill challenge is very difficult.

I was just looking round the net because I have sort of the same problem, I pass it to a player, he will move on his own and I have no control over him, he won't even pass the ball when I press X so I just get tackled and it's over.

Yes. It seems you have the same problem. Hoping to find out more information but can't seem to find anything about it on the internet.
