picked it up for $10 new, and find it to be worth the money

this game was so awsome it deserves a nine rly it was way better then the ufc game alot more depth and it took skill unlike ufc were some can just land a lucky punch wich happened way to much

this review was so boring...

the demo was mint so i picked it up for £20 in the supermarket, playing online is a mission, seems like the only ones playing are either super AI or the games developers themselves who kno all the tricks. that said i am really enjoying this and resi evil 5 at the mo because of the additional dlc. if ur a boxing fan you'll love fight night 4.

I didn't get this yet, but I was intrigued by previews and sold with the Demo. But I really hope there is an options-menu in the full game. For things like TURNING OFF THE COMMENTARY. Cause man, that annoys the heck out of me, hearing the same story over and over again. Like how you go to an amusement-park for rollercoasters and stuff... -_- It is kinda handy to get reported to you what just happened, cause it's not always clear who hits who and good or not. But the commentary just is annoying. I rather have it more "as is" and just see it as if I'm standing right there on the side. Not as if it's TV cause the camera-angles aren't even like TV...

Animation of boxers SUCKS! Boxers moving slooooow and completely unnatural... and fight is so boring. Come on, boxing fight is FAST!!! I miss old good days of Virtua Figher 2 when player need to be incredibly fast. That was real fight game, real tournament between players.

Wow, this one looks amazingly close to realism right, as for looks. Some moments it seems like a real recording, even though you of course see the "software" to it... but not as many other games that try to be realistic.

Just bought this game, its pretty good.

yo Degama just to let you know 2k did make a boxing game called Prizefighter 2 years ago and it sucked balls you couldnt even cheap shot someone . And i Love how yo can download user created fighters In Fight Night Round 4

I agree with the rating and the only reason i would give it a 8 iz becuz of the graphics and the the realistic knockouts! Although they really tried there hardest to make the animations as smooth as possible and they have made progress, the player movement is still too unrealistic. The gameplay is bad. The boxer's maneuver ability is horrible, u still can't evade quick enough. The Boxer's move stiff and mechanical and all of the boxers still fight identical. Come on! EA sports made how many versions of this boxing series and they still can't get it in their heads that every boxer has their own style. U still can't stick and move in this game or hop in and out, u can't walk with the block. I don't know about any body else but, the power punches hardly ever connect against the computer. 2k needs to make a boxing game because EA just doesn't seem to give a s***. A game could have all the graphics in the world but weak gameplay, i think i'll pass. without the graphics i give this game a 3.5. with it i give it a 7.5 maybe 8.

I loved this game, however it took a bit of getting used to, they'd changed so much since Fight Night Round 3 it was like playing a completely new game. Which is a rarity for sports games from E.A, they mainly consist of releasing the same game every year with an updated roster and maybe one or two new features... this game took a good long while to be made and it's paid off. I do have issues with the create a character mode... It's really hard even with the camera to make my face (Not there fualt) so I have to do some adjusting in the character creation mode.. however I had the player character looking just like me and had it looking perfect just for a message to pop up reading "You have been disconnected from the E.A server" and then to take me back to the main menu with all I'd worked hard on to do vanished in an instant.

Fight Night Round 4 is the best!

Ok this game is good, and now Im playing online, im telling its **cking terrible. Its cheap, and I'm telling you this that YOU WILL LOSE IF YOU LAG. My opponenet was literally 10 times faster than me and his punches was **cking more powerful. In a normal pace, I would beat my friends cuz I can actually predict there punches and succesully counter it, but the laggyness, another story. I gave the game a 8.5 but thats the singleplayer. The multiplayer in the other hand, laggy, uneven, hard.

Anybody else experiencing freezes during Legacy Mode? Im half-way through my career now and when I simulated it, it always freeze on the same date (April 20) This happened three times now. The music is still playing and I can still go and talk to my friends on PSN. By the way I have the Ps3 version. please help?

Career mode gets quite hard. Thers no Kosta Zyu,Mayweather, or De la Hoya, surprising enough. Fun tho.

i think this is underrated. the only flaw that he pointed out was the training, which is understandable, but the game still deserves more than an 8.

This game is really highly recommended. I just bought it last week and I love it specially the online match. But i hate those stupid quitters, EA sports should find a way to award the fight to the obvious winner.

@scottishboy, yes, you can use photo game face with the playstation 3 eye, and works great.

Amazing physics... The demo is on Xbox live if you wanna try it before ya buy it, but definitley a must-have!!! Fun to rip on and easy to pick up and play...

Best boxing game ever made!!!! Way better than round 2 and 3. Combos are so much easier to pull off in this game

fight round 4 is real slow with the KO.it is little like UFC undisputed at the end of a good jab or a hook shot.so UFC is better.round 3 really fun then round 4.

i played the demo of this.... and my hand hurt REALLY bad afterwords, maybe my hand is getting too lazy. i would rather get the UFC game though... or round 3... i really liked round 3 more

This is a great game. Great graphics, great audio and great game play. Personally I can't play this game for too long a session as it gets quite boring pounding a guy for 10 full rounds @ 3mins a round lol.. Playing online is awesome as well, just that the reviewer has hit the nail on the head in online game play... but saying that, its true for all fighting games. Anyone who is complaining about controls are just scrubs and i have to agree to all you guys out there who are saying they can't believe ppl r being so stubbon not getting the game due to the control system (the only game control that sucked so bad that i put it down was Alone in the Dark T.T)
