"Don't believe the hype"

With all the hubbub surrounding this game, You'd think that CB would be a lot better than it actually is. Other than the few events that make it stand out, this game gets real old real fast. Only a very forgiving fan would even be willing to give this game a second run through. The character cast is bland and the voice over acting is average at best. The story is original but there is very little to love about it other than that. The graphics are astounding and there are a few events that are memorable but these are far outweighed by the not so great aspects of the game. Combat is repetitive and boss fights are gimmicky. Additionally you can try over and over again on whatever boss, from whatever stage your on which only adds extra ease to your game play. The controls are horrid and the character versatility is very shallow. In the end this game could have been a lot better than it turned out to be and is a very bad mark on the otherwise reputable franchise that is FFCC.
