Materia Overlord - Master all Materias

Has anyone done this? At first I thought it was just getting the 3 master materias but I've done that and it didn't count so I'm guessing you have to master EVERY materia including blue and purple.
My question is, is enemy skill included in this? Do I need to get every enemy skill possible?

I don't know if Enemy Skills count, but I'm guessing they may. The Underwater Materia also gains AP, so I'm wondering if you have to master that as well.

Materia duplicates when mastered. That's been in the game from the very beginning.

I'm sure you have to master at least one of each materia... I'm certain that includes both Underwater and Enemy Skill.

You have to master every different type of materia at least once.
You can't "master" enemy skill materia as far as I remember.
This should be a list of every materia you need to master.
As far as I remember you can't level up Master Materia so that isn't included.

Damn that's really lame. I mastered everything but I didn't get it. I think it's because I turned all my maxed command,summon and magic materia in for the master version of each one.
Kind of stupid that it doesn't keep try of what you already had.

Umm, guys, you can't master Underwater Materia. It's impossible so I'm pretty sure you don't need to worry about that one. The same goes for Enemy Skill.

Here are some notes taken from Absolute Steve's guide about the Underwater Materia.
Notes:
- BUG: Due to a bug in implementation, Underwater has 1 Star and can gain AP. However, it is always considered to have 0 AP when used with Missing Score, and as such, doesn't boost its power.
- The Underwater Materia can actually be mastered, although this is a rather lengthy and tricky process. The Underwater Materia can accumulate up to 16777215 AP, after which the counter loops back to 0. However, if you manage to get *exactly* 16777215 AP on it, the game will display it as mastered. Unfortunately, since it has no AP master limit programmed into it, the game will not reward you with a newborn copy.
As I said earlier, due to the highly unlikely chance of actually 'mastering' it, I don't think it's included in the list for the achievement.

Just got this achievement
I had at least one of every materia mastered as well 4 complete enemy skill materia and the underwater materia.
After defeating Emerald Weapon i got the 3 master materia from the bloke in Kalm and then after fighting a single random battle the achievement finally popped up.
Whether the complete enemy skill materia counts towards this or not i cant say so for sure.

Yes they were either equipped or in my inventory at the time. I hadn't previously sold any of the mastered materia if thats what you're getting at

I don't know what is going on for me.
I have every materia mastered, including enemy skill (only one though, not all four). I have the master materia you get from fighting Emerald Weapon. All the mastered materia are in my inventory or equiped.
Yet no achievement.

I also still can't seem to get this.
I have everything mastered.
ALL MAGIC
ALL SUPPORT
ALL COMMAND
ALL INDEPENDENT
ALL SUMMON
PLUS
ALL 4 ENEMY SKILLS MASTERED
2 Master Magic,Command,Summon
1 of each of those is made from morphing the mastered materia so why can't i seem to get it

forgot that i sold all my alls to get the master of gil achievement so i have to master an all materia
