Easily the best of the Final Fantasy games, Final Fantasy 7 is an ambitious and truly incredible game involving you as Cloud as you travel through the world in pursuit of Sephiroth and meet many interesting characters along the way. The story is brilliant, the combat system and music is perfect, and everything else will keep you hooked from start to finish.
Gameplay: This is your basic Final Fantasy game with fantastic weapons, a materia system that allows you to atttach any magic you find to whatever character you want at any time, an unlimited source of all types of items, beautiful world map along with towns, dungeons, etc. At no time did I find the gameplay irritating or repetitive.
Graphics: At the time the game came out the graphics were brilliant, the best I've ever seen for playstation until the next final fantasy games arrived. Other than that, they are incredible for such an old game.
Sound: The music and audio are perfect, especially the music where it fits the mood perfectly and you'll remember some of your favorite tunes for years. The sound is great from hearing all the creatures and weapons as they interact with eachother.
Value: There are tons of secrets and paths to take in the game so once you complete it once you'll want to go back and find them, or just to step back into the story and music again like I did.
Overall this game is perfect and I urge you to pick it up. It's revolutionary and will be remembered forever in the final fantasy series.
